In 2008 gaf Dorje op uitnodiging les in Bhutan, schatkamer van de Boeddhistische kunst. Hij onderrichtte er pottenbakken en de samenwerking met getalenteerde Bhutanezen verliep inspirerend en succesvol. De interactie met de uitmuntende Bhutanese Tanka-schilder Tinle Dorje leidde tot een culturele en artistieke bevruchting, waarin verschillende stijlen samensmolten en nieuwe decoratie- en bakmethodes werden ontdekt en ontwikkeld. Dorje geeft ook individueel les in zijn atelier in Middellie.
Having been invited, Dorje went to Bhutan in 2008 to give workshops in pottery in ‘the treasure chamber of Buddhist art’. Working with talented Bhutan arts and craftsmen was very inspiring and succesfull. The interaction with the outstanding Bhutanese Tanka painter, Tinle Dorje, fruitfully led to a cultural and artistic blend of newly developped styles in decoration and pottery. Nowadays Dorje offers individual workshops in his studio in Middellie (The Netherlands).
